PlusTipping is a rebrand of the traditional office footy tipping competition. The goal is to reengage people through a form of competition that people are educated with but offer new and innovative ways to keep the audience wanting more to ultimately make them brand ambassadors. PlusTipping was a bit of fun that myself and a few of my mates stuck our heads together and gave a crack. My role was web design and email marketing. The scoring system includes +1 for a win, -1 for a loss and 0 points for no tip (option to not tip at all for a game). We wanted to see how a tipping system like this would work and it was interesting, however we only did one season (2016). We gave it a go and decided it wasn’t a viable business avenue given our time and resource restrictions.
